Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note that returns will need to be sent to one of the following addresses, depending on your shipping method: by courier to 1240 Powerhouse Road, Unit 1110, Revelstoke BC, V0E 2S0, or by Canada Post to 1200 Oscar Street #7, Revelstoke BC, V0E 2S1

If your return is accepted, we'll provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Return shipping is the stockist's responsibility and is non-refundable — if a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping and a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please include photos of the shipping box and of the damaged product in your email — this helps us evaluate your claim and, where the damage occurred in transit, file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

To exchange an item for the same product, email us at candles@beeswaxworkswholesale.ca or call 1-833.570.5427. Ship the item to Beeswax Works, 1240 Powerhouse Road, Unit 1110, Revelstoke BC, V0E 2S0. Delivery times for exchanged products may vary depending on your location.

U.S. Wholesale Orders — Duties, Taxes & Carrier Charges

Wholesale orders shipped to the United States are sent by courier or Canada Post from Revelstoke, BC, and may be assessed U.S. import duties, import taxes, and carrier brokerage or handling fees. These charges are separate from the product price and any shipping fee charged on your invoice, and are the stockist's responsibility.

Beeswax Works candles are made in Canada and may qualify for preferential duty treatment under CUSMA (called USMCA in the United States) when the origin and customs documentation are correct. We do not describe U.S. orders as duty-free, and we cannot guarantee that a shipment will arrive without import or carrier charges.

If a U.S. wholesale shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned to us because import duties, taxes, or carrier charges go unpaid, we will refund the price of the merchandise, less our original outbound shipping cost, the 10% restocking fee described above, and any return freight, disposal, or carrier costs we actually incur. We will not charge you anything beyond your original order total without contacting you first. This situation does not require the 30-day return window or original-condition requirement above, since the package was never delivered to you.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Approved refunds are issued less the 10% restocking fee and the cost of return shipping, as described above. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
