About Beeswax Works Wholesale
Beeswax Works Wholesale supplies pure Canadian beeswax candles, handmade in Revelstoke, BC, to independent shops in Canada. We make tapers, pillars, tea lights, votives, decorated candles and seasonal candles, and we sell them wholesale only. This page explains how we work with stockists and why shops choose us.
Why stock Beeswax Works?
- Consistent sizing. The same product in the same size, order to order, with dimensions in inches on every product page.
- Small-batch quality. Tapers are hand-dipped and pillars are hand-poured by us, and we check every batch.
- Reliable reorders. Approved accounts sign in and reorder from the past orders in their account.
- Honest burn times. Each product page carries an estimated burn time for its shape and size. They are estimates, not guarantees.
- Fair terms. No case packs, no exclusive territories, and complimentary matchbooks and postcards for approved stockists.
Who do we supply?
Independent shops in Canada: boutiques, gift and home stores, spas, lodging, restaurants, wellness and refill shops, and event suppliers. Stockists sell through their own shops and websites. We do not supply online marketplaces such as Amazon.
What do we make?
- Hand-dipped tapers, built layer by layer.
- Hand-poured pillars, poured in our Revelstoke studio.
- Tea lights and votives, set and packed by hand.
- Decorated and seasonal candles, made with the same wax and method.
- Beeswax blocks (1 lb and 1.5 oz) for approved wholesale accounts.
Where does the wax come from?
Our beeswax comes from Canadian beekeepers, mostly in Alberta and British Columbia, and we know the people who produce it. Our primary supplier is Poelman Apiaries in Fort Macleod, Alberta. Candle colour is the wax's own, from deep honey to pale gold depending on the season, so a small shift in colour between orders is normal.
Why do we do this?
There's a moment, most evenings, when someone strikes a match and the room changes. Our job is to make the candle for that moment; yours is to put it in front of the person who'll take it home. It isn't the cheapest wax available. It's the wax we'd burn at home, and the wax we're comfortable putting your shop's name behind.
How do we support our stockists?
Approved stockists get complimentary branded matchbooks and postcards, a first-order guide on the Stockist Hub, display tips, and a referral program. Questions your customers ask are answered in our wholesale FAQs and candle care guide.
