Beeswax Works has been making pure Canadian beeswax candles since 1994. Today every taper is hand-dipped and every pillar hand-poured in Revelstoke, BC, and each one goes out to an independent shop like yours.

1Who are we, and what do we make?
Who makes the candles?
We do. Beeswax Works has made candles since 1994. Our tapers are hand-dipped and our pillars hand-poured and hand-wicked in Revelstoke, BC, from pure Canadian beeswax. Read more in Our Story.
What's in the range?

Burn times are estimates, not guarantees. Because every candle is handmade, beeswax colour varies from deep honey to pale gold, and we can't promise an exact match between pieces or deliveries. We don't offer custom or private-label production at present.

Who do you work with?
Independent shops in Canada: gift and home decor boutiques, apothecary and refill shops, farm, honey and garden shops, and Main Street general stores.
How do I apply?
Send us a short application. We review every one by hand and reply within 3 business days. You don't need your first order worked out yet.
What happens once I'm approved?
Sign in to see wholesale pricing and place your order. Our Wholesale Terms set out payment, shipping and returns.
3What should my first order look like?
Ordering at a glance

| Payment | Card at checkout. Approved accounts may apply for Net 15 terms from January 1, 2027, under a signed net-terms agreement. |

| Timing | Most orders ship within 7 to 10 business days of receipt, often sooner. September to November can take longer. |

What suits my kind of shop?
Suggestions drawn from our sales data, not set assortments.
- Gift and home decor boutiques: taper pairs in two heights, flat-top pillars in 3 and 5 in, a hex or fern pillar for display, Sweet Heart candles and tea lights.
- Apothecary and refill shops: tea lights, votives, narrow pillars in 3 and 5 in, and a 16 oz block for customers who make their own.

4How do I display and sell the candles?
Display ideas that work
- Show them in use. Taper pairs beside candlesticks, pillars grouped by height, tea lights and votives with holders that fit.
- Give hanging tapers room so they don't bend or press against neighbouring stock.
- Keep displays cool and unlit, away from heat, hot lights and strong sunlight. A lit demonstration must stay attended, in a suitable holder, clear of stock and packaging.
- Sell the holder with the candle. Tapers need a stable candlestick, pillars a heat-safe plate or tray, tea lights and votives the specified cup or holder.
- Let burn time explain the price. Point customers to the estimated burn time on the product page.
- Use the extras. Pair matchbooks and postcards with candle purchases.
Can I sell online?
Yes, on your own shop website and social media, and you may use photos from our product pages there. We don't supply resellers for online marketplaces such as Amazon.

5How do I plan reorders through the year?
When should I reorder?
Most of our candles are made to order, and each year we build more stock ahead of time. September to November is our busiest stretch, so plan holiday orders early. This year's holiday order date is in the Wholesale FAQs.
What's in the works?
Timelines are current estimates and may change.
- Net 15 payment terms: approved accounts can apply to pay 15 days after invoice, from January 1, 2027.
- Barcoded packaging: in progress. Until then, use your own price labels or POS SKUs.
- French-language pages: the wholesale site in Canadian French, in progress.
